Due to continually strong growth an opportunity exists for an Insolvency Manager a renowned insolvency firm in Melbourne's CBD.

About the role
In this role, you will be in charge of overseeing, executing, and finalising client projects. Your responsibilities will include performing accounting and financial analyses, and providing support to clients navigating corporate distress, voluntary liquidations, restructurings, and administrations.
Duties
- Working closely with clients to develop and deliver restructuring and insolvency strategies
- Assist in advisory, informal engagements, including independent business reviews and informal turnaround assignments.
- Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other written correspondence.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare estimated outcome positions for legal restructuring matters.
- Day-to-day duties including but not limited to asset sales, balance sheet restructuring, cash & liquidity management and forecasting, debtor, financial and operational restructuring, contract & business reviews, profit improvement, short term cash flow forecasting frameworks, stakeholder reporting + more
Skills & experience
- Degree Qualified (bachelor’s in accounting, business administration or a related field)
- Completed CA/CPA and ARITA qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in insolvency space
- Excellent communication & negotiating skills
- Must have a natural ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong focus on delivering positive outcomes for clients
