You will provide technical advice on a range of mining safety and health matters to industry, the government and the community, in particular on those aspects relating to the mechanical operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
Essential / desirable requirements
To be considered for this role, possession of a degree/qualification from a tertiary institution as recognised by the Board of Examiners is mandatory.
It is also essential to have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior technical or operational position in the open cut mining industry.
- Possession of a Queensland Open Cut Examiners Certificate of Competency or a Site Senior Executive Notice for coal mines.
