About the role:
You will work closely with our Cirro and Geotechnics teams in New Zealand and our team at Chadwick Geotechnics in Australia. You will use your technical know-how for product research, development, and commercialization. Your other core duties include:
- Writing proposals and service offers for Instrumentation and monitoring projects
- Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of online digital services
- Developing & implementing new technologies and systems for data capture, transmission, and management
- Assembling, testing, deploying, and maintaining instruments & control systems
On occasion, you will support our teams in New Zealand to deliver projects through remote software-based tasks. As your capability in this role grows, you will also have the opportunity to travel to New Zealand.
Our preferred candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical/environmental Instrumentation and Telemetry
- A strong interest and understanding of electronics and the Internet of Things (IoT)
- Demonstrable experience in project management and communicating technical information to clients
- A passion for business development and stakeholder management
A valid Victorian driver's license and a pre-employment medical are required for this role.
