As a Supervisor - Instrumentation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating instrumentation activities on our lithium construction project. You will be responsible for managing a team of instrumentation technicians, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of instrumentation technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise as needed.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation systems, including sensors, meters, controllers, and control valves.
- Collaborate with project manager, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and execute detailed work plans, schedules, and budgets for instrumentation activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to procure materials, equipment, and tools required for instrumentation work.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or deviations from project goals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and records of work performed.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among all team members, promoting a zero-incident workplace environment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation systems, processes, and equipment used in industrial settings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members to achieve project objectives.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations, such as AS/NZS 4024, ISO 45001, and site-specific safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
