Melbourne’s leading Prestige & Strata Insurance Builder, Multipro Building Services is seeking to appoint an outstanding Estimator-Supervisor to join our tight knit team.

Provided you have 3+ years experience as a building supervisor, we will provide training in every aspect of the role.

THE POSITION
Your duties will include but not be limited to:-
ESTIMATING
- Develop and manage Insurer, Broker, Adjuster and Customer relationships;
- Prepare detailed SOWs, Estimates and Causation Reports ;
- Interpret SOWs, engineering computations, plans, 3rd party reports and prepare submissions in the required format;
- Comply with NCC and various Australian Standards in submissions;
- Manage, develop and negotiate with Trades and Suppliers;
- Maintain compliance with KPIs and SLA’s;
- Understand and interpret policy coverage;
- Develop price lists, scope libraries and report libraries;
- Conduct site assessments to determine cause of damage and policy coverage.
SUPERVISING
- Manage repair processes from end to end
- Manage 15-20 projects simultaneously <$500K
- Manage and supervise trades and suppliers
- Thorough knowledge of NCC Australian Standards
- Ensure client and customer are well informed with regular progress communication.
- Meet and manage competing priorities
- Report to Construction Manager
The successful Candidate Must Have:
- Experience in Estimating
- Excellent building knowledge with a carpentry or trade background. Certificate IV in Building and Construction
- An excellent consistent track record of achievement
- Strong time and organizational management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment whilst managing multiple competing tasks
- Attention to detail with strong a customer and outcome focus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be empathetic to the needs of the customer
- Proven longevity in previous roles. Minimum 3 years in your current position
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license and police check
