AddressSalary Package: $110,000 - $120,000 + Superannuation
Role Highlights: Experienced Insurance Estimator to attend commercial and residential properties to inspect damages and provide costings.
Role Overview:
As an insurance works Estimator you will attend commercial and residential sites to estimate damages, prepare a scope of works and provide costs to repair the damaged property.
Responsibilities:
- Attend commercial and residential properties to inspect damages to insureds property
- Scope of works & estimated cost of repair, in line with Service Level Agreements
- Preparation of submission and reports and obtain photos of damages observed
- Liaison with specialist trades and other relevant stakeholders in providing technical information and or input into cause of damage
- Liaison with Project Managers & Site Supervisors to ensure handover between estimating and Site Supervisor prior to job commencement, assist with costs and progress claims
- Minimum of 5 years construction industry experience, as an estimator, carpenter or builder
- Insurance industry knowledge and experience
- Must have high level of knowledge in building/construction methods
- Maintain relationships with relevant insurance clients
- Mandatory qualification either in building Certificate/Diploma Level
- Must be a Permanent Resident/Australian Citizen
