A new opportunity exists for an Operational Excellence Process Analyst. This role combines a sound understanding of our business with Lean Process expertise to assist us in improving efficiency within our business in the service of customers, partners and each other.

We have created a step change in the 5 systems of the way we work including Intent, Portfolio, Culture, Organisation and Flow of work. This role is pivotal in optimising our flow of work, unlocking efficiency in the business and therefore making ambitious things happen faster, delighting our customers and making Zurich a great place to be for our people.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to analyse current processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Program Mangers and business leaders to ensure successful implementation of process improvement projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of process improvements on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organisation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for lean initiatives.

Important to your success - let's grow together

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Lean Six Sigma/Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools.

Business Accountabilities

  • Oversee business cases and project plans to ensure they meet financial requirements of the business.
  • Lead the implementation of projects to drive business change for a function or business area to deliver defined objectives with allocated resources and in timescales of up to one year.
  • Drive project portfolios in order to support an operational change to the business, typically for projects of up to one year.
  • Provide advisory services to colleagues across the business,to ensure understanding and adherence to the company'srisk and compliance processes.
  • Assess risks associated with the execution of change projects, reporting to sponsor/steering committees in order to ensure risks are understood and to agree appropriate action.
  • Analyze key themes from a wide range of data sources in order to identify how different scenarios may impact on the business and the success of business change projects.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and lead the implementation of systems and process improvements in business change.
  • Evaluate the most complex business change requirements and develop bespoke technical solutions to meet the requirements of the business customers within policy constraints.
  • Advise senior management to support change through understanding and insight in order to have an impact on local business performance.
  • Build relationships with middle management across a country or multiple countries to deliver business change projects across these geographies.
