The Firm & The Role
Our client is a well known national law firm and have an insurance team that consistently tops the legal tables. Due to new clients and new instructions, our client is looking to recruit a talented insurance lawyer with around 1 to 4 years pae.
This role will see you working closely with well respected insurance partners and their insurer client base which consists of local and international insurers, self-insureds, corporations, government agencies.
The role will see you working on a range of professional indemnity matters including medical negligence matters, construction/engineering risk claims, subrogated claims, business interruption claims, directors & officers liability, claims against financial services providers, claims against allied health professionals etc
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Around 1 to 4 years pae in the area of insurance law, pre-admission experience in insurance law will be looked upon favourably
- Our client will look at general insurance and personal injury backgorunds
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent communication skills and enjoys going to court
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- The ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
