The role requires a suitably qualified and experienced Integration Aide with a caring and compassionate personality.
Essential Criteria:
- Working With Children Check is mandatory
- Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English skills
- Strong understanding of the developmental needs of children, adolescents and emerging young adults.
- Assist students identified as requiring additional support
- Work in small groups as well as with individual students to provide learning support as required.
- Build rapport with the students and the Teachers and build academic confidence in students.
- Offer advice on key learning capabilities for individual students.
- Ensure specific learning and teaching strategies are applied to provide support to assist students with learning improvements in consultation with Teachers.
- Engage with the Additional Needs department and the specific Primary or Secondary departments to offer advice, suggestions, knowledge and findings in order to support programs and our students
- Have the ability to work with Primary / Secondary aged students.
- Enthusiasm to create and participate in learning programs, intensive support lessons, homework coaching and support and special events, excursions and activities.
