The Senior Asset Policy Officer role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact leading the use of an Asset policy framework for proactive strategy, planning, operations and evaluation.
This includes delivering high-quality, innovative, prioritised and timely policy/strategic products to support the organization ICT Asset management strategy and practical needs.
Key Accountabilities:
- Produce high quality policy advice and analysis on complex strategic policy and ICT Asset Management issues.
- Contribute to project leadership to deliver multiple, time-critical reform projects.
- Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting written communications, including reports, submissions, complex correspondence and policy and related documentation.
- Understanding of key conceptual frameworks required for strategic policy development, such as the role of systems thinking in policy problem definition and solution design.
- High experience developing high quality written material such as Ministerial or Cabinet briefings, policy, guidance documents, stakeholder communications and research or options papers, with a high attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in Asset Management or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
