The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) are the caretakers of Perth’s cemeteries, entrusted to commemorate the lives of Western Australians now and into the future. We respectfully help family and friends honour the lives of loved ones and safeguard memories for future generations.
We have one (1) temporary (six month) full-time position available for an experienced Integrity Consultant to commence immediately at Karrakatta Cemetery.
About you
· You will have a passion and substantial experience in integrity and fraud and corruption control, preferably in the public sector.
· You are motivated to work in a small team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and advising the Corporate Executive for the betterment of the business and the community.

· You are available for an immediate start.
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate person who is passionate about integrity, and the prevention of fraud and corruption to provide a seamless and high quality service to the community.
The Integrity Consultant will be responsible for:
· Establishing and embedding robust Integrity and Fraud and Corruption Prevention Frameworks to build resilience across the MCB and raise integrity compliance across the organisation.
· Pressure testing of fraud and corruption internal controls.
· Review or develop and uplift key policies and procedures in line with legislation such as the Public Interest Disclosure Act, for example conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment and whistleblowing.
· Fraud and corruption risk assessments.
· Fraud and corruption awareness training for staff.
