We have a casual position available Offshore for an Advanced Care / Intensive Care Paramedic. The positions are FIFO from Perth.
This is a 4- 6 month contract and swing will be 4/5 weeks with an immediate start.
This role will demonstrate initiative and work as an enthusiastic and independent member, in accordance with Falck's policies, procedures and business objectives.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Caring and empathetic approach to supporting the injured or ill
- Management of primary health and emergency situations
- Drug & Alcohol testing
- Active participation in small team environment
Essential selection criteria and experience required:
- Paramedic Registration with AHPRA
- Nurse Registration with AHPRA
- Current open drivers license
- Emergency Response specific training
- Drug and alcohol testing qualification
- Demonstrated experience working independently as a remote Paramedic
- BOSIET qualification
- OGUK or AMSA medical
- Advanced Life/Cardiac Support (ALS1 or ACLS) or equivalent;
- Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST),
- Advanced Trauma Life support (ATLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent;
- Training in the management of burns (EMSB or WA Model of Burn Care);
- Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) training
- Competence in primary care;
- minimum of five (5) years of relevant and recent work experience (i.e. in an emergency department / Intensive Care unit / trauma unit / remote medicine / offshore setting)
