Interior Designer

Span is expanding, and we are searching for the next member to Join our team.

We are an international award-winning team, consisting of highly motivated mid-level designers. 
Together, we ensure that each project is well-executed, from the initial concept stage to refining the final documentation. Our creative and dynamic studio has a diverse portfolio comprised of various unique projects, and never limited to a particular style. 

You will need to be passionate about interior design and driven by quality, working across residential, hospitality, retail and mixed-use spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the team in the workplace for projects
• Working on concepts through to delivery with strong support from seniors
• Work closely with external consultants and contractors
• Undertake design projects from concept to completion
• Production of working drawings, detailing and delivery and implementation of drawing packages
• Strong overall communication skills with clientele, contractors and the team

Skills and experience

• Experience of working on office design (its a bonus)
• Strong Vectorworks proficiency
• Exceptional design-eye
• 3 - 4 years’ experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating attention to detail
• Strong marketing and client management skills are much preferred
• Ability to produce high-quality detailing, spatial layouts, scheduling and finishes selection
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
• A passion and a flair for design
• Previous experience working on commercial, hospitality interiors or residential projects within a professional practice
• An advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree within Interior Design
• Must be located in Sydney and hold a permanent residency or Australian Citizenship
