Koichi Takada Architects Sydney office is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury interior design, a keen interest in sustainability, and proven experience in delivering exceptional projects within the multi-residential and hotel sectors.
You will be responsible for the development of interior design concepts for bespoke projects of diverse scale and typology across Australia, Asia and Middle East.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our leadership team, clients, and other stakeholders to develop innovative interior design concepts for luxury residential, hospitality and retail projects.
- Contribute the development of interior design schemes from concept through to completion, ensuring designs are aligned with project goals, client expectations, and sustainability principles.
- Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation to communicate design intent and support the construction process.
- Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet project requirements, budget constraints, and sustainability criteria.
About you:
- at least 5 years’ plus of local experience working on multi residential, hotel and/or retail interiors;
- confident in REVIT and the Adobe Creative Suite as a design communication tool, but your design skills are of more interest to us than your preferred choice of software;
- Excellent presentation and communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong design portfolio showcasing creative thinking, attention to detail, and a sensitivity to sustainability.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is highly desirable.
