The Role:
The Intermediate Accountant analyses and provides reports on key financial data to provide the financial information needs of the Company, including providing financial planning, budgeting, risk management, cash flow analysis and management reporting that identifies ways to manage costs efficiently in line with accounting principles and practices. The intermediate Accountant takes ownership of the End of Month process from data extraction to Trial Balance.

Experience we're after:
- Significant experience with financial systems
- Experience Balance Sheet End of the Month Recon, Deviation Analysis, and substantiation of monthly variances.
- Project Accounting
- Managing and processing AP and Payroll experience to provide support to AP /Payroll Officer
- Managing and processing AR experience to provide support to AR Officer
- Experience operating a computerised accounting and payroll systems.
- Ability to analyse, interpret, reconcile, and communicate financial information from multiple sources.
- Ability to plan and coordinate activities, prioritise, monitor and continually assess and recommend improvements/effectiveness of financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills allied to practical judgement.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of, and skills using systems, including Microsoft Office 365 Business applications and database software
- Capacity to work and contribute within a team environment
- Ability to work and deliver against deadlines
