About the role
This role will see you supporting Liquidators and Senior Managers with a variety of insolvency appointments, and you will be given the responsibility of running small files with a high degree of autonomy, engaging in research, conducting investigations and statutory reporting. You will also assist with drafting reports to creditors and assist in the organisation of creditor meetings, the realisation of assets, and liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other stakeholders.

Duties
These will vary depending on your experience level and seniority, but may include:
- Supporting senior staff with a range of corporate insolvency appointments
- Assisting in the running of files under supervision
- Liaising with creditors, directors, and other stakeholders by telephone and in writing
- Conducting investigations into companies’ financial affairs
- Assisting with lodgements and reporting to ASIC and the ATO
- Drafting formal reports to creditors and correspondence to various stakeholders
Skills & experience
- Degree in Accounting/Commerce or other related degree
- A keen interest in a career in insolvency with 1-2 years experience (other experience will also be considered)
- Looking to commence/or have commenced the CA or CPA programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MYOB Insol desirable but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office
