The RoleAs an Intermediate Accountant (Client Advisor), you'll play a vital role in our firm, working with a diverse portfolio of clients. Working in our Bowen Hills Offices, your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, tax returns, and activity statements for various entities. You'll engage in tax planning, reconcile accounting files using software like Xero, MYOB, and Quickbooks, and provide business advisory services such as due diligence and valuation engagements. Your role will also involve liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and contributing to the overall success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for clients
- Engage in tax planning and provide strategic advice to clients
- Reconcile accounting files suing Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, etc.
- Conduct busines advisory services including due diligence and caluation engagements
- Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients and ensure compliacen with regaulations
- Continously update ans apply your knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional sercices to our clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional services environment.
- Strong client focus and flexible approach to work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements and various types of tax returns.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and Quickbooks.
