The Role
As an Intermediate Accountant you will have completed or be working towards the completion of your CA/CPA qualification. Within your role, you will be asked to:
- Complete statutory compliance work; including the completion of financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements and FBT returns.
- Prepare management reports for clients under the direction of the Manager/Partner.
- Complete personal administrative tasks (e.g. timesheets/time recording, performance appraisals).
- Help assist other staff members as required.
- Effectively prioritise, manage and produce high-quality work within the company deadlines.
- Participate in firm training opportunities for self-development.
- Attend internal work events and networking events to promote the firm.
The Individual
- As an Intermediate Accountant, you will ideally have 18+ months experience in a public practice firm. In addition, you will:
- Be working towards or have completed your CA/CPA qualification.
- Be familiar with APS and Xero software (preferable)
- Have knowledge of the medical industry (advantageous)
- Have a positive outlook and friendly personality.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
