Intermediate/Senior Accountant

About the Business 

KK Partners Group are a CA practice providing accounting, taxation and business advice to small and medium business and individual clients. We are conveniently located on cosmopolitan Bay Street in Brighton, within walking distance of public transport, shops, cafes and restaurants. 

We are a young, dynamic team working in a fun, relaxed environment and some of our key office policies include:

The Role: 

In this role as a Intermediate/Senior Accountant, you will be assisting your Managing Partner in the following areas: 

• Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts
• Preparation of Financial Statements for the same
• Review of above plus BAS and IAS’s for junior and off shore staff members
• Review of SMSF Financial Statements and handle auditor queries for same
• Exposure to a variety of taxation matters including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A etc
• Collaborate on Tax Planning and other ad hoc consulting and advisory engagements
• Liaising with clients and external agencies
• Provide ad hoc accounting, taxation and bookkeeping support to clients
• Workflow management
• The opportunity to develop into a management role

You will be encouraged as well as financially and professionally supported to further your professional development with the completion of your CA qualification (if not already completed).

What we will require from you: 

• Be degree qualified 
• Be in the process of or have a desire to complete your CA qualification
• Minimum 3 years of local business service experience
• Permanent Residency
• Exceptional verbal communication and written skills
• Organised approach to work with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
• Xero and MYOB experience
• A desire and enjoyment of being part of and contributing to a fun and inclusive office culture
