About the Role

Currently, we are looking for a full-time ambitious intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our team. You will work closely with clients across various industries providing oversight and review of financial reporting, compliance, and driving process improvements. 

We are also considering more senior candidates for more senior positions.

$5,000 sign-in bonus for career development and learning initiatives in addition to an attractive salary package.

Main Responsibilities:

• Service and manage a group of clients across multiple industries for their tax and advisory needs such as the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and forecasts. 
• Help identify accounting issues and assist with tax planning for clients.
• Accurately complete BAS, GST, and FBT returns.
• Identify, analyze, and propose resolutions for complex accounting issues. 
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

Pre-requisites:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or finance
• Hold CPA/CA Qualification 
• 3 + years of experience in a client-facing accounting role
• Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting standards 
• Experienced with Xero 
• Experience completing business compliance tasks and tax returns
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
