The Company:
My client is a leading nationwide hire and construction company. With over 50 years of expertise, their capabilities include the design, manufacturing and construction of prefabricated buildings along with the hiring and selling of a wide range of high-quality portable buildings. The company services a diverse range of industries including mining, construction, education and government projects and is well equipped to meet the ever changing needs of the industry.
Due to high industry demand, they are now in search of an experienced and customer-focused Internal Account Manager who wants to be a part of this successful, high performing team.
The Opportunity:
This role will see you based internally within the hire team, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries. You will proactively guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions through your expert knowledge and product information. You will be interfacing across all levels within the business including estimating and engineering through to transport and logistics. Some of the processes include dealing with councils, building applications as well as design & engineering and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively
- Source opportunities to pair compatible products and services, generating further sales
- Guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions and use your expert knowledge to provide product recommendations and upsell
- Liaise with internal departments including engineering, drafting, scheduling and logistics
- There may be a small amount of cold calling required to develop new opportunities
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years sales experience, ideally within a technical I project focused sales environment such as hire, waste, transport or similar
- The ability to problem solve and provide analytical support in order to meet the technical demands of the role
- Industry or site-based knowledge will be beneficial
- Formal education studies will be regarded highly
