Internal Audit Transformation Assurance Lead

Mars Recruitment is searching for an experienced Transformation Assurance professional to join a niche, Internal Audit Transformation team within a leading Financial Services organisation. Are you a seasoned leader in quality assurance with a proven track record of overseeing enterprise-wide change programs and Internal Audits?

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement methodologies for auditing strategic initiatives and project portfolios.
• Lead audit teams in executing comprehensive program assurance reviews, ensuring adherence to high standards and timely delivery.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving effective collaboration and proactive engagement.
• Oversee Internal Audit quality assurance programs and manage co-source providers.
• Drive the development and implementation of ongoing quality assurance and improvement programs.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering engagement and professional growth.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of the department, ensuring overall performance aligns with organisational goals.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Transformation Assurance and Internal Audit.
• Transformation Project Assurance experience essential.
• Expertise in audit planning, controls, methodology development, and data analytics.
• Be flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise transformation, agile practices, and business change assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous experience in guiding business stakeholders to improve control processes and address gaps.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and driving excellence in all endeavours.
