We are looking for a seasoned Internal Auditor with a proven track record in the medical field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of our internal processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to excellence and integrity in patient care.Responsibilities:Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
Prepare and present reports on audit findings and recommendations.
Work closely with various departments to implement audit recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest healthcare regulations and standards.
Identify areas of potential risk and propose corrective actions.Required Skills and Experience:· Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal auditing, specifically in the medical field.·
Experience, especially from within Australia but also from overseas, is highly regarded. Candidates should hold relevant qualifications in fields such as accounting, finance, business, or commerce.Immaculate written and in-person communication skills;
Excellent attention to detail, with excellent documentation standards;
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and build relationships;
Strong stakeholder engagement capability; treat everyone as a Customer;
Confident, capable, high-achieving, self-sufficient and career driven;
Strategic thinker, able to think laterally to deliver effective solutions/recommendations;
Excellent data analysis skills;
Ability to manage multiple projects; and
Naturally inquisitive, and continuously strive towards quality.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
