Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- Utilise metrology techniques (CMM, Profile projector, micrometer, Vernier, electrical testing equipment) to inspect incoming goods and manage non-conforming materials.
- Support in-process and final inspection of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain calibration systems and ensure equipment compliance.
- Work towards improving customer quality and contribute to maintaining ISO 9001-2015 standards.
- Implement lean methodologies to enhance workplace organisation and reduce inspection cycle times.
Profile
To be considered for this role you will have/ be:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in particular working with medical devices.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Full Covid vaccination is required.
- Experience in calibration and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Accredited qualification in "head auditor" (Audit) is required.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
