About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic InternalSales Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving our ongoing sales growth.  Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales by obtaining new business, along with building strong relationships with our current client base.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be an exceptional people and customer relationship leader. Ideally you will have prior working history in the building or hardware industry.  You will play a crucial role in driving sales, forming new business relationships, and contributing to the growth of the company. 

What you will be doing

While knowledge of the building and hardware industry would be beneficial, we value a motivated attitude and passion for sales above all. 

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive growth through timber and hardware sales.
  • Identify and target potential new customers, by establishing and nurturing these relationships, particularly with key decision makers. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our current customer base, understanding their needs and developing their spend with us
  • Responsible for providing customers with products solutions based on product knowledge.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up with clients, process orders and liaise with suppliers and clients.

  • Work closely with others to resolve issues.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite products and ERP systems.
  • Current drivers’ license
