About the Position
Master Steel is a steel fabrication company specializing in the technical manufacture and assembly of steel components for the commercial, industrial and government sectors. In this position you will be required to follow leads and help the estimating team on winning projects. You will need to provide regular updates to the management team regarding potential leads, market insight and opportunities pipeline. Key responsibilities include:
- CRM input and lead administration
- Filtering leads to ensure estimators are quoting suitable jobs
- Identify potential sales opportunities
- Liaising with clients - submission of tenders / quotes, feedback, etc with the intention of winning
- Win quotes and tenders as a team
- Relationship building - client engagement and networking of new and/or existing accounts
- Representing the Company on tradeshows and key industry events
About You
The ideal candidate will have;
- Experience in project-based environment
- Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, telecom, infrastructure or other heavy industries such as mining, oil & gas or other relevant sectors
- Competency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high energy and commitment to the role
- Positive attitude, reliable and team player
