We are looking for a new team member to join our Newcastle Branch.
This full-time position involves working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm in our Beresfield (Newcastle) location.
This position will involve a wide range of tasks including Internal Sales, customer service, light warehousing and more. Read on to learn more about what the role entails, who Associated Gaskets is and the skills you’ll need.
What You Can Expect in the Role.
As part of a small group with 2 other long-term team members, this job involves a variety of different tasks. Some of these include:
- Assisting with customer enquiries face to face and via phone and email.
- Estimating, quoting and quote follow-ups.
- Helping customers with product selection.
- Order entry and management through our production systems.
- Picking and packing of customer orders.
- General cleaning and warehouse maintenance.
What You Need.
Associated Gaskets is proud of our history of training and employee development. There are no formal qualifications needed to apply for this position. That said, the following will be a definite plus:
- Desire to learn about our products, customers and systems.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
