Position Overview:

International Logistics Coordinator - the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import and export activities, managing customer bookings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the transportation of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Utilise your customer service skills to manage customer bookings, create job files, and provide pricing information.

Import and Export Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in airfreight import and export procedures, including understanding inbound availability, outbound cutoffs, and generating export documentation.

Job Schedule Management: Maintain accurate job schedules by liaising with operations and logistics teams to schedule collections and deliveries efficiently.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements for the transportation of medical devices, including maintaining export/import inboxes and generating necessary paperwork.

Airway Bill Proficiency: Possess a good understanding of airway bills, preferably with experience in cutting airway bills as needed for shipments.

Relationship Management: Interact effectively with freight agents and other external partners to facilitate smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer facing role within a logistics environment.
• Proven experience in airfreight import/export operations.
• Familiarity with document management and regulatory requirements in logistics.
• Knowledge of airway bills and ability to cut them as needed.
• Experience working with freight agents and other external partners.
