What you'll be doing
The inTouch administrative officer provides essential administrative functions to support the delivery of clinical care services provided by the multidisciplinary team This includes the processing of referrals to inTouch, registration of patients, booking of appointments and transfer of information to other healthcare provides.
The position will also need work as the first point of contact and manage enquiries through effective communication with patients, clients, and other health care professionals in a respectful, courteous, and positive manner.

Selection Criteria: * Previous experience in providing administrative support to multi-disciplinary clinical staff within a health care or similar setting.
- Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
- Demonstrated capacity to work with minimal supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks and problem solve with limited direction.
- Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and determine work priorities
- Previous experience and knowledge of medical record systems and procedures.
- High level computer skills in the use of CERNER and IPMS, Microsoft Office applications and/or the capacity to further develop proficiency in the use of these and other corporate IT applications.
