About us

Yumaro is a multi-award winning not for profit located on the south coast of NSW. There are opportunties to work in our Moruya office. Yumaro operates several social enterprises providing employment opportunities in a supported way. We provide NDIS services including home and community supports, capacity building supports, accommodation, social programs, support coordination and plan management services to over 220 people living with a disability.

About the role

  • We are seeking 2 Administration Officers to support our Community Services Department
  • Located in Moruya
  • 3-4 days per week 
  • Permanent Part-Time

About You 

The administrative officer roles play a key part in supporting the efficient operation of administrative functions within our community services department.

Yumaro provide support to people in their own homes, in the community and via our innovative social programs.

Your exceptional administrative skills, coupled with your time management skills, computer and customer service skills combine to play a key role in delivering reliable, friendly and knowledgeable administrative support to our participants, their families as well as the coordinators.

You will be working extensively within our Client Management System and using MS office suite.

Your keen eye for detail will help you to complete tasks such as creating our service agreements, providing quotes, understanding the NDIS price guide, assist the coordinator with staff rosters, enrol people into social and capacity programs, provide administrative support in building exciting social programs, such as assisting with the bowling or movie groups.

Skills and experience

  • Qualifications in Administration or equivalent administration experience
  • Great computer skills (MS office suite and online databases) and enjoy working with technology
  • Efficient administration, organising and time management skills
  • Able to plan and achieve multiple and competing deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving – able to match peoples needs with service options in the NDIS environment and communicate positively and effectively with internal and external people
  • Be able to follow specific instructions and support the requirements of multiple service co-ordinators and work in a team environment
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to enhance the life options for people with disabilities.
  • Assisting the coordinator with creating social programs and organising events
