Assistant Department Manager - Inventory This unique opportunity exists to be part of the Customer Fulfillment Centre (CFC) in Brookvale and build the operational, commercial, and team member foundations of this site. The Assistant Department Manager - Inventory role exists to: Support the Inventory Manager in the CFC operational performance across Inventory Management activities in the Ambient department (General Merchandise, Grocery and Cigarettes) Support the Inventory Manager to lead and manage the Inventory and Replenishment teams to ensure stock is available when required to support picking of Online Orders Lead the department in the absence of the Inventory Manager This role will report into the Inventory Manager. What makes you right for Woolies As the Assistant Deparment Manager - Inventory, your key responsibilities will be to: Spend time with the Inventory team to motivate, manage, and guide them to deliver results and drive best practice in the CFC Support the Inventory Manager to lead the team to ensure good PI levels are maintained, overstocks are controlled, management of promotional screens, and fulfillment of Business to Business orders Review OOS reports daily to determine how we can improve availability to the customer Collaborate with our Online Commercial and Online Replenishment teams to improve customer satisfaction, through range changes and managing stock levels Support the Inventory Manager to identify and develop talent in the CFC to build a talent pipeline for our Woolworths Group Engage with other CFC teams to share best practice The right attitude is everything....
