In this position as Inventory Control Analyst, you will be at the forefront of maximizing customer service and minimizing inventory write-off by optimizing the usage of slow-moving and short-dated inventory in our loan and consignment locations. Your responsibilities will encompass driving actions based on analytical insights, creating comprehensive inventory reports, forecasting future inventory expiry risks, and developing dashboards to track improvement initiatives.
By analysing high-usage accounts, you'll identify strategies to reduce stock wastage and collaborate closely with our EWM, LWM, and Consignment Inventory Controllers to streamline inventory acquisition and transfer processes. You'll also provide invaluable insights to our Sales leadership by reporting on consignment FIFO utilization performance and assisting in setting optimal consignment levels.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Responsible for creating the slow moving and short dated inventory reports for loan and consignment
- Reporting on future inventory expiry risk and dashboards on improvement initiatives
- Perform analysis of high usage accounts to identify stock movements which can decrease the amount of stock which expires unused
- Through analysis, execute the rebalance of slow moving and short dated inventory to minimise inventory write off
- Partner with EWM, LWM & Consignment Inventory Controllers to align processes for efficient acquisition and transfer of inventory to optimum use locations
- Analysis and reporting to Sales leadership of consignment FIFO utilization performance
- Analyse to set and drive optimal consignment levels, work with Contracts and Sales teams to revise Consignment Agreements
- Work with IT and Business Information Systems teams to continuously improve BI reporting for inventory expiry
- Identify and execute excess inventory stock re-balancing or returns
- Manage day to day queries related to inventory analysis and reporting requirements
- Actively collaborate with all LifeHealthcare continuous improvement activities
- Actively instigate inventory knowledge management and transfer
