This high profile and extremely successful Australian FMCG business has been experiencing rapid growth across all their divisions. Due to the strong growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and commercially minded CFO to join the business. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive leadership team, you will have 8-10 direct reports and be responsible for:
- Leading the entire finance function
- Take ownership of monthly, half year and full year reporting
- Provide financial insights and analysis to the executive leadership team
- Annual budgeting
- Establish and evaluate business capital requirements
- Board reporting and presentations
- Oversee the external audit process
- Compliance with taxation matters
- Assist with managing key relationships - solicitors, banks, insurers etc
- Long term strategic planning and assist with strategy development
- Ad hoc projects and process improvements
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will be CA/CPA qualified and have a proven track record of operating at the CFO level within an FMCG/consumer goods environment. You will have a hands on approach along with a strategic and commercially orientated mindset. The ability to lead, manage and nurture a team is also essential.
