McGregor Gourlay is seeking a dedicated Inventory Controller to join our team in Alstonville. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to play a key role in our operations and inventory management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, including stock levels, movements, and adjustments
- Conducting regular stock audits to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Monitoring stock expiry dates and ensuring proper rotation of inventory
- Managing inventory control procedures
- Collaborating with the team to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management
- Assisting with month-end inventory reporting and analysis

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Prior experience in inventory control or a similar role within a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail and strong numerical aptitude
- Proficiency in using inventory Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- The ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- An analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve effectively
- A proactive approach towards continuous improvement in inventory management processes
