Our client Samsung is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. With expansion to their business, there is an opportunity for a Inventory Controller to join the Sydney team. About the role:
Execute & maintain inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and aging. Maximizes stock system accuracy and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; priorities & resolves aging inventory issues, supports operation with relevant reporting and support.
- Oversee and review 3PL inventory cycle counting / inventory accuracy checks
- Ensure SP inventory materials are correctly classified and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
- Ensure that Bi-annual stock takes are performed in spare parts in compliance to SEC policies and procedures
- Conducting investigations into system inventory discrepancies and resolve with stakeholders
- Support and coordinate Inbound priorities with Spare Parts Planners and 3PL
- Manage the repacking process for Inbound parts to ensure adequate & appropriate packaging
- Review inventory reports and surplus stock lists to determine the need for improvement in inventory control methods and recommend corrective measures to restore a satisfactory inventory balance
- Extensive knowledge / understanding of logistics operations
- Intermediate level usage of Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of SAP
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
