Hr Administrator

We currently have a vacancy with the Pentagon Freight Services Brisbane Team for an experienced HR Administrator. This role will report to the HR Manager and will be responsible for providing support and assistance across human resource administration duties including generalist HR, training & development, recruitment & selection, employee onboarding and separation processes, documentation and adhoc administrative tasks. The main duties include:

• Delivering accurate, timely HR administrative services
• Monitoring and updating registers and actioning items relating to new starters, probationary periods, resignations
• Assisting with onboarding of new employees
• Providing recruitment support where required, including shortlisting of applications, organising interviews, conducting reference checks and notifying unsuccessful applicants
• Drafting contracts of employment and position change letters 
• Assisting with reviewing and updating human resources policies, procedures, forms and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Coordinating the training and development system, ensuring that all employees are competent to meet the role accountabilities specified within their position descriptions
• Maintaining employee training records and training files 
• Sourcing and booking required training through external training providers
• Providing support to the Regional QHSE & Compliance Manager as and when required

 The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a similar role
• Ability to work with the diverse range of people within our business, including management and other stakeholders
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• High attention to detail and strong planning and organising skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Certificate IV in Human Resources (or progression towards)
• Current unrestricted drivers licence
