This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced inventory manager who is passionate about governance and wanting to influence operational best practice.
This role will be based at our new Swanbank site with the opportunity to work from home as well.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with the Inventory Governance Manager Oceania assisting in creating company inventory policies
- Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to ensure we are compliant with inventory policies
- Assisting with developing, documenting, and implementing procedures and processes to establish best practices for inventory control
- Conducting investigations into variances to discover root causes and driving process improvements
- Reviewing the work of AU/NZ Inventory Teams to identify compliance issues and providing advice or training
- Preparing reports for senior management and internal & external auditors
What’s in your toolkit?
- Previous experience in logistics or inventory
- A passion for inventory management best practice and strong knowledge of Inventory Governance
- Ability to build strong relationships to influence change
- Gemba mindset – you will not be afraid to get out on the floor to understand how we operate
- Experience with change management and accurately documenting SOP’s
