As a global supplier of specialist medical devices and some specialised pharmaceutical products this company provides life improvement, and can do the same for you! with a focus on making its products as accessible as possible & amidst a growth phase through portfolio expansion and acquisition, this role will report to the Operations Manager and support the full inventory management and maximise stock availability, so their customer promise is supported by you.
It’s all about … the Job!
Taking an analytical approach to the management of the day to day inventory and demand of over 2000 SKUs, you will bring a high level of understanding across quality data, forecasting and key reporting, allowing the Senior Management to focus on the strategic direction and demands of the business. Pulling together critical product data from across the parent manufacturer and international supplier, liaising with marketing determining appropriate distribution numbers and analyzing raw data whilst reviewing stock levels, back orders, adjustments, returns, holding products and quarantined inventory. Your ability to produce meaningful technical reports using excel is key and you will need to be at an advanced level for this reporting function. If you have used Oracle or any other large ERP system this will be essential in giving you the key skills sets to produce the reports they need.

A focussed individual with meticulous attention to detail, you’ll have an innate ability to organise and structure your own time with the intuitiveness to deliver information needed with a quick responsive sense of urgency and monthly deadlines. You’ll communicate effectively with customer service and global internal inventory teams to collate an array of multiple reports including, but not limited too, un-shipped orders, EDIs, shipping errors and distribution performance. You will be confident in your delivery of findings at a monthly teleconference with your overseas partner and the demands of management. With an analytical mindset, your uncompromising precision and your thirst to identify trends and anomalies are a must, together with a customer-sensitive attitude.
