Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our team and oversee our inventory-related financial activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial analysis, Inventory Management, and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems to accurately report on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and analysis for management review, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to optimize Inventory Management practices.
- Conduct financial analysis related to inventory costs, pricing, and profitability to support decision-making processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance Inventory Management efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in developing inventory budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst and must have manufacturing or Inventory Management environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide informed recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Inventory Management systems (e.g., ERP systems, NETSUITE) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Location and Work Arrangement: This position is based in Smeaton Grange, South West Sydney. However, we are open to discussing a hybrid work arrangement, with the potential for remote work on a part-time basis, depending on the candidate's preferences and qualifications.
