Form of workOur client is a leading global logistics company seeking an Inventory Specialist to support their team in Truganina.
Please note, there are two roles available, one from 6am- 2pm and one from 2pm - 10pm.
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for all inventory transactions and reporting, ensuring they are accurately processed and prepared in a timely manner. Your primary objective will be to ensure 100% accuracy in stock reconciliation and inventory management.
About you: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about numbers, reporting and inventory control and who is task-focused, highly organised, and able to work autonomously as well as part of a dynamic supportive team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and maintaining, reporting, reconciliation, and transaction of stock
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Maintaining the supporting documentation and records
- Coordinating and processing inventory claims, returns and damaged goods
- Assisting with warehouse stock takes, cycle counting, replenishment and system adjustments
- Identify and resolving inventory issues
- Adhoc tasks
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with inventory control
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong Microsoft Suite and computer literacy skills
- Strong administration experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
