We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our INPEX Logistics department based in Perth.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure the inventory integrity is maintained through continuous review of inventory transactions being performed
Continuous optimisation of inventory through adopting standard ROP and EOQ methodologies
Review of stocking requests to ensure an optimal level of inventory is put forward by Materials Management for approval, followed by processing the approved inventory levels
Assist with preparation and review of stock counts, ensuring approvals are obtained followed by posting adjustments
Manage and/or participate in special projects as deemed appropriate by Team Lead to ensure optimal performance of associated Materials Management processes.
Provide guidance and support to other departments with regards to Materials Management processes
Key qualifications, skills and experience required:
Supply Chain experience and knowledge of Inventory Management processes, strategies, analysis, and philosophies
Experience working in the SAP MM module, and have a thorough understanding of both AP and PM Modules on a functional level
Inventory Management experience within asset intensive industries e.g. Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation
Advanced skills using MS Office packages i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Have a good understanding of the working principles of Procurement, Disposals, Stock Checking, Cataloguing, Quality control, Logistics and Warehousing
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to communicate clearly with management and customers
