Are you an experienced Inventory Specialist looking for a big role in the energy space?
AGL Macquarie is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
You will play a significant role in coordinating the replenishment of inventory, ensuring timely deliveries to meet maintenance and operational needs, all the while minimising the risk of obsolete and excess inventory.
This role will support the warehouse, purchasing and planning functions to ensure delivery of materials to meet project timelines and maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate MRP (Material Requirement Planning) activities and optimise inventory strategies.
- Support operational requirements and manage excess inventory.
- Work closely with Warehouse and Planning Managers to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Improve material availability.
- Communicate from c-suite all the way to the shop floor.
- Coordinate international orders, including freight forward activities.
- Deliver best practice inventory management including maintaining SAP master data, implement process improvement, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Provide reports and information as needed including demand forecasting and inventory optimisation.
- Experience in an inventory planning role in MRO (Maintain, Repair, and Operations) industries.
- Supply Chain or Project Management capability will be highly desired.
- Understanding of MRP systems, proven capability in using SAP, or similar
- Capability in report design and analytics
