Investigations & Internal Review Support Officer

If you want to help shape the future of Frankston, now is the time to join our team!About the positionCouncil's Safer Communities Department is looking for an Investigations and Internal Review Support Officer.The main responsibilities will include:

• Resolve and respond to enquiries from the public in a timely manner and provide information on Council's services and facilities to customers and Council officers
• Develop strong and positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Provide general administrative assistance to support the operations of the Prosecutions Team
• Undertake the assessment, processing and reply of infringement reviews on a regular basis.

This is a full-time position.About you

• Well-developed administrative skills and understanding of court processes.
• Technological skills to fulfil the requirements of the position.
• Understanding and ability to interpret policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
• Advanced computer and typing skills.
• An understanding of the relevant Acts, Regulations, Local Laws and Council Policy which are essential to the efficient operation of the unit.
• A demonstrated willingness to help customers and an ability to resolve conflict situations.

This position is a Band 5 currently remunerated at $78,589.24 per annum, plus superannuation.
