The Role
With responsibility and access to the Board, Investors and all key stakeholders in a collaborative team environment, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting to evaluate and execute new Investment opportunities
- Preparing Investment Committee papers, Investor and Board Reports, and financial analysis
- Building and maintain financial models – investment feasibilities, cashflow forecasting, operational models and investor returns
- Assist with Equity Capital Raisings, Investor Liaison, Capital Calls, Investor Reporting
- Assist with raising, structuring and monitoring Debt facilities and relationships
- Managing external and internal property valuation processes
- Assisting with fund and asset management, reporting and governance
- Growing the deal pipeline and assisting to source new investment opportunities
- Assisting with corporate strategy and business development
The successful applicant will have 2 - 5 years’ experience working in Investment, Funds Management, Corporate Finance, Banking, Property Investment, Valuations or Finance. You will need a relevant tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Property or equivalent and CA, CFA or CPA qualified (or working towards). Other key requirements include excellent financial modelling, Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills and solid analytical and research skills. You will be a team player, ability to problem solve and take responsibility, calm under pressure and most importantly have a real energy, drive and passion for the investment or property industry.
