The Role:
Working closely with the Analytics and Forecasting team, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our dedicated team. This role reports directly to Manager, Analytics and Forecasting and will see you responsible for analysing and presenting a range of information related to urban growth and development.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- High level analytical and research skills to evaluate complex information, provide expert advice and communications, and develop clear correspondence and reports with recommendations for time critical deadlines.
- Working knowledge of methods and procedures for projecting population, housing and land supply at various geographic scales.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation by challenging assumptions and established views and generating ideas to deliver goals more effectively.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines and competing demands.
- Proven ability to work under limited direction, independently or as part of a team, identify performance outcomes, plan and coordinate activities, set priorities, achieve objectives within deadlines and make timely and well-informed decision
- Proven experience in spatial data collection, management, analysis and presentation within a geographical information system environment.

Special Conditions
Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
Remuneration:
ASO6 - $97,022 min - $102,626 max
