Investment Operations Associate

The Opportunity:

Our client is a top tier multi-asset class manager with exposure across all global asset classes including equities, fixed income and ETF's.  They have built an outstanding reputation in the market from decades of high performance and industry leading investments. An opportunity is now available to join their Investment Operations (Middle Office) team.

As an Associate in Investment Operations, you will play a key role in the smooth running of their middle office function with oversight of fund administration and unit pricing completed by third party vendors. This position offers the chance to broaden your skill set and contribute to the company’s growth and success as your time is split between BAU tasks as well as projects and process enhancements.

Typical duties and responsibilities:

• Oversight of daily fund operations among service providers, transfer agents, custodians, fund accountants
• Assisting service providers with investor onboarding queries 
• Support new fund products and trading instruments.
• Monitor adherence to contractual policies, procedures & controls through review of Service Level Agreements
• Evaluate trade exceptions and complex shareholder issues and track reoccurring trends for management review
• Escalate issues from internal & external stakeholders to assist in resolution with the service provider
• Assist with cash reporting queries from the portfolio management team, and Net Asset Value review process.
• Support special projects and initiatives for Investment Operations and other groups on an ad hoc basis

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience from fund administration / unit registry or a similar Investment Operations role
• High initiative and a passion for process improvements
• Relavent degree / post graduate qualification preferred 
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
