Investment Operations Associate

Keegan Adams are proud to represent a Global Investment Manager specialising in the Real Estate and Infrastructure market, looking for an Investment Operations Associateto join their Sydney office. In this diverse role, you will be working in a close-knit team, gaining a wide exposure to all aspects of the business and will report directly to the Head of Investment and Fund Operations for APAC.

Responsibilities:

• Provide asset consulting for clients in pension funds and superannuation through preparation and assessment of personalized reports.
• Work closely with the investment advisory team to provide exceptional portfolio analysis, performance reporting and investment support.
• Maintenance of performance models, including reconciliation of investment records and implementing portfolio changes.
• Investigating unit pricing data to ensure timely resolution of any issues.
• Liaising with clients, custodians, external service providers and cross functionally with internal stakeholders in the business.
• Working closely with the teams to aid in the settlement of direct alternative investment transactions.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally gained whilst working for a superannuation fund, a fund manager, or a custodian.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to financial services.
• Possess strong communication skills and be a whizz at using Excel.
• Be a team player, with a can-do attitude and a positive outlook.
• Be detail oriented and have a good balance of both analytical and problem-solving skills.
