We are looking for someone to join our Capital Markets team as Investment Specialist - Asset Allocation
Key responsibilities of role:
This is a senior role with client facing and thought leadership responsibility. The role is part of a team of 8 and reports to the Director of Investment Strategy and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality investment and strategic advice and research to Frontier clients.
Capital Markets and Asset Allocation
Research: Carry out capital markets and Asset Allocation research to improve your and the firm’s knowledge and understanding of capital markets and related issues faced by clients.
Client Consulting: Produce bespoke work and interact with external institutional clients and maintain strong relationships specifically in the areas of capital markets and Asset Allocation.
Strategic thought leadership: Contributing to the formation of Frontier’s strategic and dynamic Asset Allocation views and supporting client teams in providing Asset Allocation recommendations to client portfolios that produce long-term risk-adjusted return enhancements and/or risk mitigation.
Media, Seminars and Forums: Leading the Capital Markets Team to present on capital markets and Asset Allocation issues to internal and external forums such as conferences, client functions and webinars, assisting with media liaison on capital markets and Asset Allocation matters, contributing material for internal and external publications and other multi-media outlets.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Relevant experience within banking, investment consulting, funds management, economic and market analysis or a similar related field
- Appropriate graduate and post graduate qualifications in relevant fields (e.g. Economics, Finance, Commerce)
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and an ability to work in, and contribute to, a team environment by working co-operatively and effectively in an environment of mutual respect
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels including: presenting to clients in a professional manner, communicating with managers and other external stakeholders in a professional and appropriate manner
- Excellent organisation skills, an ability to work autonomously, set priorities and work to deadlines
- Ability to work with other people and to encourage learning and development for less experienced staff.
