Australia’s largest independent financial publisher and a world leader in direct response marketing, is looking for a highly capable and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join its Acquisitions Marketing team.

- Have a strong understanding of Digital Marketing principles, with a deep focus on paid media advertising, SEO, and direct response marketing strategies.
- Be experienced using various paid marketing platforms to deliver performance, this would include but not be limited to; Google Ads, Meta, Native ad platforms. You will also have experience with SEO tools including Google Analytics, Search Console and SEMRush.
- Have excellent analytical skills and be able to leverage these to excel at evaluating end to end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints, with a special focus on conversion and optimisation.
- Have a creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into effective advertising and direct response campaigns.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate direct response strategies across marketing functions.
Combines the art and science of Digital Marketing to optimise performance across paid and organic channels with a direct response mindset. As our Digital Marketing Specialist you will:
- Plan, execute, and manage paid media campaigns across digital platforms, incorporating direct response principles to maximise immediate conversions alongside long-term brand objectives.
- Lead Generation and Conversion Optimisation: Create and optimise landing pages, lead magnets, and calls-to-action to enhance lead generation and conversion rates, employing A/B testing to identify the most effective strategies.
- Contribute to SEO efforts by performing keyword research, SEO audits, and optimising content to improve search rankings and scale SEO traffic.
- Analyse campaign performance across all channels, including direct response metrics such as CPA, conversion rate, and ROAS, to make data-driven optimisations.
- Cross-Channel Campaign Management: Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, integrating channels to engage the audience at various stages of the lead to customer journey.
- Copywriting Support: Work with copywriters to craft compelling ad copies, email messages, and content for landing pages that drive action, emphasising clear, concise, and persuasive messaging tailored to the target audience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in paid media marketing and familiarity with direct response marketing techniques.
- Understanding of the evolving marketing technology landscape, including direct response marketing tools.
- Experience managing large paid media budgets and multiple campaign strategies.
- Proactive in providing daily meaningful optimisation recommendations and timely responses to short-notice requests.
- Experience in an agency/consultancy setting (highly desired).
- 2+ years’ experience in SEO (highly desired)
- Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities for immediate conversions (highly desired).
