Role Overview

As an Investor Relations Manager, you'll collaborate closely with our Finance, Property, and Legal Teams. Your pivotal role involves managing and enhancing relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring transparent and effective communication, and supporting the strategic objectives of Sentinel Property Group. You'll also lead equity-raising initiatives and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Sentinel Property Group is a leading property investment fund with over $2 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). It delivers returns of 19.05% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) per annum across over $1B of historical transactions, with 966 active High-Net-Worth investors.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Investment Sales, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the Investor Relations inbox and phone line and responding to all investor queries (e.g. wholesale HNW investors, wealth distribution partners & family offices)
  • Coordinating ad-hoc and structured communications to investors, including producing monthly and annual statements and pro-actively managing Investor Relations
  • Processing monthly distributions and dealing with withheld payments (WHT)
  • Managing all unit holdings and unit transfers within our CRM (Titanium Digital) and ensuring that all daily, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks are performed accordingly
  • Working with the team to co-create a ‘skills matrix’ to ensure that the team has adequate business continuity practices (BCP) to build operational resilience
  • Responding to queries from existing and potential investors about their investments
  • Oversee KYC/AML/CTF processes, ensuring compliance with our Australian Financial Services License (AFSL), ASIC and AUSTRAC regulations
  • Oversee and enhance the company’s Investor Relations website and social media presence including preparation of press releases and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (i.e. acquisitions, accountancy, legal, marketing) to align on Investor Relations strategies with business objectives
  • Working with the team on projects to enhance our market share including working on digital transaction projects (e.g. Titanium Digital, HUB24, Praemium, NetWealth)
  • Working closely with the acquisitions team, marketing team and Head of Investment Sales on Go to Market (GTM) collateral including Information Overviews (IOs) and Information Memorandums (IMs) for new commercial real estate investment trusts
  • Assisting with putting together presentations (i.e. PowerPoint, Canva) to assist with our bi-annual conferences in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and GTM campaign presentations for our new investment trusts/campaigns

Are you someone with?

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Investor Relations or related roles in property or finance sectors.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, business or related fields preferred.
  • Understanding the investment products and financial markets is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, CRM skills (e.g. Titanium Digital/ HubSpot), and managing Investor Relations communications.
  • Proven track record in relationship building, team oversight and stakeholder management.
  • Skilled in drafting detailed external communications
  • Effective under pressure, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Highly motivated, proactive problem-solver with strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to drive business outcomes with empathy and persuasion.
